Working with a local company Meschantes, that make wedding dresses and corsets. Wow getting paid to shoot some fashion....

More annual report shots of buildings. Shot @ 8PM, light balance was tungsten f/8 for 6 sec. the sky looked black, but came out blue with the color balance.

Working on an annual report shot in Greenville and Farmville NC. Used a 6x6 scrim and 2 lights on the outdoor shots.

Where to begin......

Last few week have been crazy ........ Someone tried to break into the studio,broke the glass doors and put a hole in the brickwall and tried to come through the dry wall...Thank god for insurance ( Travlers ). My 4 year-old came down with pneumonia and I spent the night at Wake Med, spent 40 hours with no sleep and had 2 shoots ..... I'm still recovering...

Group shoot

Had a big group shot @ 30 people shot in a lobby at Wake Tech. ( It started out with 56 people ). Had 2 Speedorton heads up top @ 1200WS -2/3, Profot w/beauty dish on the bottom floor 1200WS, Alien Bee 800WS on the stairs as a back light.

field film

Ran film all day yesterday, everything looks great. My favorite from the shoot is the 4X5. The only concern the art director has is the background people might be going to soft and out of focus, might have a hard time making it past the legal department (might not look like adults). Glad I shot 2 1/4 @ f /16 as a back-up, everthing is sooo.... sharp.

Old School 4x5

Had to get the dust off the old 4x5 camera for a pharmaceutical shoot for an Asthma medication. They were looking for a shallow depth of field and the final size was 36x24. They almost had a real budget for the shoot. I rented a field at a local college for the shoot. We had five real models from Marilyn's Talent out of Greensboro. We had wind gust up to 35mph, we had a 6x6 butterfly up to help with camera shake. The 4x5 camera blew over when I switched to the 2 1/4 camera, Oh well.....

shooting shoes

Shot at a bank in Winston Salem yesterday, didn't get home till late, never even made it back to the studio. Had to secure and pay for a location for a shoot on Monday and verify all the models......Had to pick up some old shoes for a story on a guy who's been running for years. Did a group shot and some details.

Products

Shot some products and did some retouching. Shot on a white sweep with a 30x40 softbox on the 3/4 images and 2 30x40 boxes on the straight on.
