Raleigh Editorial photography

I finally got to unpack my car ...... I was on the road shooting for 10 days straight. I met some really great people and saw some really cool places. I'm looking forward to doing some shooting in the studio.

Editorial assignment for Sportsnet Magazine on the biggest UNC fan. I got to shoot at the Dean Dome at UNC Chapel Hill. My intention was to strobe him and the gym. I had my location kit, 5 profoto lights and 2 AB's, not nearly enough light for such a large space. I ended up shooting available light to capture the size of the venue.

More magazine work for an article about a local realtor. I think I might be a hoarder, my prop room is packed full of stuff. I have an entire collection of model homes.

Another magazine shoot. I don't think the images represent my look and style. I'm more of a hard light, back light shooter. I'd worked with the photo editor in the past when they were at another magazine. This assignment was to be all natural light. I'm kinda glad it was flat and overcast that day.

With Spring around the corner my neighborhood is starting to come alive. Harris Barber College is about 4 blocks from my studio and when the weather is nice everyone sits out front. I stopped by to take some images and will definitely be going back.

I had a magazine assignment the other day and we agreed to shoot at Prairie Ridge Ecostation. I arrived early to set up. I'm not a big landscape photographer, but the light was so nice I had to grab a few shots.
