With Spring around the corner my neighborhood is starting to come alive. Harris Barber College is about 4 blocks from my studio and when the weather is nice everyone sits out front. I stopped by to take some images and will definitely be going back.

I had a magazine assignment the other day and we agreed to shoot at Prairie Ridge Ecostation. I arrived early to set up. I'm not a big landscape photographer, but the light was so nice I had to grab a few shots.

Editorial photography Raleigh NC
My photography for NC Public Power / Taste of Carolina calendar won a silver Addy award. It was a great project to be involved in. The creative team at Electricites mafe me feel like a valuable member of the team. The Taste of Carolina campaign picked up a total of 7 Addy awards. It was a fun project to be part of and I will never eat another hushpuppy again. You can find out more about the project at the Workbook Blog.

Advertising Photography Raleigh NC
A shot for Pendleton Whisky for FWV. The background was the challenge on this shoot. I started by staining some new wood and it just didn't look right. I ended up "finding" an old pallet and taking it apart. We ended up cutting holes in the wood to get light up into the bottle.

Some shots of a new building out in RTP. This will have to be a re-visit in the Spring when the grass comes in and they remember to leave the lights on.
