Raleigh Food Photography

Raleigh Food Photography
Still life and portarit photographer Bryan Regan recently had a unique and challenging shoot.
Bryan Regan was asked to photograph a feature for The Local Palate, a culinary publication based out of Charleston, SC with a focus on the food culture of the South.
The feature would be on a new restaurant, Standard Foods  and included 2 parts, some images of Scott Crawford and his business partner, John Holmes along with several food shots
.
Chef Scott Crawford will be cooking up a fall feast for the magazine. This will be our "Food, Glorious Food" feature in this issue. There was only one problem, the restaurant was months away from opening and still
under construction.  Bryan Regan scouted the location and realized the only clear space to photograph the two together was a giant white wall of the construction site. All the food photography was done at of Scott Crawford’s home with the help of his soon to be new kitchen staff. Regan packed up multiple backgrounds and photographed the food on a coffee table in Scott’s living room.

Hopscotch Music Festival day 1

Every year I look forward to the Hopscotch Music Festival  great music and great people. I can walk out of my studio door and be at venues in 2 blocks. I enjoy photographing live bands and music , but I'm really trying to capture a more behind the scenes look at the Hopscotch Music Festival.

Raleigh Engagement Photography

Raleigh Engagement Photography I don't usually do engagement photography, but the other day I got a call to be a paparazzi. Nate was going to propose to his girlfriend at the JC Raulston Arboretum and wanted some photo's. I was different and sounded like fun, so I said yes. We met the day before and scouted out the location for the proposal. It was a magical moment, makes me believe true love is a live and well.
