Trump North Carolina 2020

Trump North Carolina 2020 - I decided to go check put Donald Trump in Winston-Salem NC as part of my Trump Land series . I didn't apply for a press credential because I always seem to get better photos being able to walk around and not stuck on the press platform. Parking sucked. You were suppose to park at the Wake Forest Sports complex @ 5 miles away and be shuttled over by a Corona Bus. No way in hell was I going to ride that. I parked about 2 miles away and walked. I shot some images out side Smith Reynolds Airport and was pretty happy with how they turned out. I then decided to go in. My lens was to long to be let in with the general public an 80-200mm. No way I was walking back to the car to drop it off. I shot some more outside the rally and saw the plane land and Trump exit. After watching the late night news clips I'm glad I didn't get in, there were very few mask being worn.

Raleigh Editorial Photography - Black Lives Matter Protest

Raleigh Editorial Photography - Black Lives Matter Protest in downtown Raleigh, NC 08/28/2020

Started out peaceful but ended with some destruction of property. 14 people arrested. I tried some off camera flash with a small unit and some pocket wizards. -

Richmond Editorial Photography

Richmond Editorial Photography With everything going on I thought it was important to take my kids to Richmond to see what is going on. A very powerful experience and witnessing history in the making. I think the statue of Robert E. Lee on Monument Ave. covered in graffiti will become an iconic symbol of the Black Lives Movement.
